Indian Style Rice

Ingredients

  • 3 whole cloves
  • 2 t cardamom seeds
  • 1 t cumin seed
  • 2 t coriander seeds
  • 1 t garlic powder
  • ½ t ginger powder
  • basmati or jasmine rice

Instructions

Wash the rice

Grind all the spices, except the cloves, until very fine.

Add ground spices and whole cloves to rice and cook the rice using your preferred method.

Cooking time: 20 minutes
