What do you mean, "You think bacon is a snack?" Wait, you don't think that?

1/2 lb thick-cut bacon slices
1/2 c light brown sugar
1 T Dijon mustard
2 T red wine

Heat oven to 350 degrees.

Line baking pan with foil. Place bacon in single layer on foil. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until bacon is lightly browned and crisp.

Mix sugar, mustard and wine.

Drain bacon fat from pan. Brush bacon with brown sugar mixture. Return to oven for 10 minutes, until glaze is bubbling and darkened.

Remove from oven, transfer to cutting board. Rest for 15 minutes. Cut into snack-sized pieces.
