Basil, Chili, and Garlic Chicken


  • 2 T fish sauce
  • 2 T soy sauce
  • 4 t sugar
  • 2 t crushed red pepper
  • canola oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 8 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 ½ lbs chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 c torn fresh basil leaves


In small bowl, combine first 4 ingredients.

Prepare all other ingredients.

Do the typical stir fry. First the chicken, then the onion. Add the garlic and cook for a minute. Add the sauce and stir thoroughly. Finally, add the basil leaves.


Preparation time: 20 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
