Pepper Steak
Ingredients
- 2 lbs beef, cut into strips
- 1 red pepper, cut into thick slices
- 1 green pepper, cut into thick slices
- 1 white onion, cut into thick slices
- ¼ c beef broth
- ¼ c soy sauce
- 1 t minced ginger
- 1 t minced garlic
- ¼ t black pepper
- salt to taste
- 14 oz crushed tomatoes
- 2 t brown sugar
- 1 T arrowroot
- 1 T water
Instructions
Brown the beef.
Add all of the other ingredients except the arrowroot and water to the beef in a crockpot.
Cook on low for 6 - 8 hours.
Thicken by adding the arrowroot mixed in the water and stir.
