• 20 oz pack Hurst dry beans, rinsed; discard spice packet
• 1 white onion, diced
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 2 bay leaves
• 1 T fresh thyme
• 7.5 c chicken broth
• 1 t hot sauce
• 1 lb diced ham
• ham bone
• pepper
• salt

Put all ingredients except salt into the instant pot.

Cook on high pressure for 40 minutes. Allow pressure to release naturally.

Salt to taste.
