Coconut Granola Bars
Ingredients
- ¾ c brown sugar
- ⅔ c peanut butter (or almond butter)
- ½ c honey
- ½ butter (or margarine)
- 2 T vanilla
- 3 c rolled oats
- 1 c chocolate chips
- ½ c flaked coconut
- ½ c sunflower seeds (optional)
- ⅓ c wheat germ
- 2 t sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
Combine sugar, peanut butter honey, butter & vanilla. Mix to a creamy consistency.
Add remaining ingredients and stir to coat.
Press into a greased cookie sheet (with edges) or a cake pan.
Bake at 350 until golden brown (approx. 30 minutes). Don't overbake or they will be too hard!
